Description: Every year the SBA organizes a tubing trip for the 1L class, LLMs, and Transfers, and the dates this year will be Aug. 23rd and 30th. The busses will leave from the upper law school parking lot outside of the auditorium at 9:30 each morning, and the actual river time will is estimated to last from 10:30-1:15, all depending on water levels. Anyone who wants to bring food or drinks should also bring a cooler.
We realize that the second date is on the same day as the USC football game. The busses should be back to the law school by 2-2:30, and the game kicks off at 3:30, so students should have enough time to do both. However, we have opened up the first Saturday (Aug. 23) to the first 100 1Ls to pay becuase we realize people may not want to go tubing on game day. To sign up, please e-mail Chad Logan or Miles Sasser. You are not signed up until you have paid.
The cost for the trip is $25 per tuber. Please make checks payable to "SBA" and put them in the mail box of either Chad Logan or Miles Sasser. You may also pay via PayPal by sending $25 to uvasba@gmail.com.
